After the success of the WTBTS Australia Data Capture & QA project GIS Solutions undertook a similar project in New Zealand. The project included digitising spatial data stored on paper maps and an existing GIS system. Base layers were sourced from LINZ and symbology setup. Layers were created in an ESRI ArcGIS Geodatabase. Data quality assurance procedures were again created and implemented to ensure a high degree of quality data.
